Description

Collection of cookery receipts, with a few medical receipts; in English. Compiler's holograph MS. The section pp. 71-75 is headed 'Certain Receipts for the Cure of some Hurts and Diseases incident to Mank[in]d'. 'Mrs. Mary Percivall' is inscribed in the upper corner of the last leaf. On the verso of the penultimate leaf, written by another hand 'George Hope Esqre his Booke and he is my hunny [honey?] Landlord Samuel Jenkins ... my Landlady is very good aliquando'.
