Rolls of Members

The Rolls of Members cover UK and overseas membership. They were printed for private circulation only. This series is not complete.

Each volume contains lists of central, branch and (from 1920/21) group office bearers, and members including the address, branch and sanitary district. The members lists are arranged by category of membership. Lists of committee members are included in H.1/6-14, 1902/3-1913/14. From 1920/21 a description of the areas covered by each branch and the role of each group, and membership regulations are included. Rules for the Neech Prize, founded in 1921, are included in H.1/19-36, 1924/25-1951/52, and prize winners from H.1/21, covering 1921/22 onwards. A complete list of past presidents of the Society is also included from H.1/21. The last two volumes in the series, H.1/35-36, contain a short history of the Society's constitution, a chronological table of events and complete revised Memorandum and Articles of Association, 1948.

Many of these volumes were kept in the Secretary's office and contain corrections, changes and additions, including resignations and deaths, in the volume and/or on interleaved pages.
