Description
Chemist's recipe book, signed 'H Wilcox 1860', comprising lists of ingredients with quantities. Contains medical, dental and culinary recipes, plus ingredients for household items, perfumes and other toiletries. Also includes ingredients to make the colours for 'show bottles', green, white, yellow, purple or blue, red, blue and ruby (see pp.71v.-72r).
