Annual General Meetings

Up to 1960, minutes are normally accompanied by the annual reports of the Council, Treasurer and Editor of Public Health as well as the annual financial statements. Annual accounts and reports of Council and officers from 1960/61 onwards do not form a complete set, particularly after 1981/82. Those covering 1960/61-1981/82 were found loose and are filed separately from the minutes, in E.1/2/1. (See also J.1 - Annual Reports and G - Financial Records).

After 1981 no bound volumes of official minutes were kept. The majority of papers in file E.1/1/3 were integrated from various parts of the deposit. It is not known if unsigned minutes are the final version. In many cases there are two slightly different unsigned versions of the minutes; both have been retained.
