Ownership note

Stated by the bookseller Desgranges of Paris, to have come from the library of Du Fossé of Port Royal, and probably to have been compiled by him. After p. 347 is an inserted 3 page 'Consultation' on quarto sheets, perhaps holograph, dated Paris 1772, signed by [Pierre] Demours [1702-1795], 'Médecin Ordinaire Oculiste du Roi'. After p. 63 is a printed leaflet describing and advertising the 'Nouveaux remèdes infaillibles pour guérir toutes sortes de maux de dents' by a certain Sieur David, 'demeurant à Paris, rue des Orties, Butte Saint Roch, au Petit Hôtel Nôtre-Dame', dated 1770.
