Description

Artznei-buch. The first 8 ll. contain entries in a later 16th cent. hand. On fol. 57, the Author has signed and dated 1537 a receipt for 'Aurum potabile': and inside the upper cover is a receipt for a dye ending 'probatum durch mich hans frey 1549'. Below is a coat of arms blazoned in water-colour, perhaps that of the Compiler.
