Gemma secretorum sive Antidotarium speciale et quasi miraculosum. Recollectum, a Patre Eusebio Matisconensi Capucino: in French. Author's holograph MS. The title, preface, heading and some of the formulae are in Latin, but the text is in French. On p. 82 is the date 1734, and on p. 244, the date 1739; both of these seem to have been later additions. On p. 212 the date 1732 appears in the text. The volume contains miscellaneous medical receipts, many of them made up from chemical substances, cosmetical receipts, etc. Text mostly within red crayon rules.
