Description

Prescription notebook of a Nottinghamshire chemist, with medical, veterinary and household recipes and notes, The main part of the book (ff. 50-162) is occupied by prescriptions for named individuals from the northern fringes of Nottingham. At the start of the volume is a collection of recipes and medical notes (ff. 1-48). Most of the contents of both sections is apparently in a single hand.
