Added leaves (folios 1 and 198): paper folded in 2.; Watermarks: First watermark very similar to Mosin and Traljic 6947, 6949, 6956 (saucisson), attested in 1338-50.Second watermark identical with Mosin and Traljic 5791 (licorne), attested in 1339-44.Watermarks similar to Piccard 122415 (scissors), attested in 1457.; Material: paper; iii + 199 + iii.; dimensions: height 295 mm, length 230 mm

Purchased by the Wellcome Library in 1984.

Hand note

Attributed by Nigel Wilson to Georgios Chrysokokkes (RGK III 126).
Several different hands have added text throughout the manuscript.

(not before 1300, not after 1775): Owned by Gerakes, possibly Manuel Kantakouzenos Gerakes
(not before 1722, not after 1774): Owned by Anthony Askew (1722-1774) and sold at his auction sale, G. Leigh and J. Sotheby, London, 10 March 1785, lot 404 to James Sims (1741-1820).
