Josserand de Montz

Livre de receptes contre plusieurs maladies, tant pour les persones [sic], que pour le bestal [sic], bien approuées appartenant à moy Josserand de Montz, extraictz d'un uteil [sic] liure treuué dans le cabinet de feu Monsieur de Nouezan. The original work ends on fol. 45. The remainder is by a slightly later hand, with some additions by other hands at the end. On the verso of the 37th un-numbered leaf is a marginal note against a 'Recepte pour la gravelle' mentioning 'Mr Moureau médecin de Mr Demaryet de l'armée de roy en Italie en lan 163 [sic]'.

1 volume 45 ff. + 47 ll. + 3 bl. ll. 8vo. 20 x 14 cm. Original vellum covers with flap and brass clasp. The first leaf is damaged, and some leaves are stained.
