Description
Collection of medical receipts: in English, with some additions by other 17th cent. hands.
The orginal collection contains 342 numbered receipts: the Compiler's name is in the lower margin of the first leaf of text.
There are 3 leaves of slightly smaller format added at the end with receipts by different hands. There are also additional receipts in the main body of the work, one of which is dated 1672.

1 volume 94 ll. folio. 30 x 19 cm. In vellum covers from a cut-down Deed of Sale, dated 1641. Margins and corners frayed.
