Description
Book of cookery receipts, with a few medical receipts. In English by two hands. The second hand (12 ll) is an illiterate one, and probably later. Inscribed inside the upper cover: 'Madm. Lettice Owen' [cf. following entry].

Physical description
1 volume 34 ll. + 65 bl. ll. + 12 ll. folio. 29 × 181/2 cm. Original panelled calf binding, with jointed brass clasp, and lock. Many leaves are wanting, and the pagination seems to be very irregular. Written partly on the rectos only.
