Letters arising from Harvard University Press's proposed publication of "Honest Jim" by James Watson.

The file contains letters from and/or to a number of individuals involved in a dispute concerning publication. In particular, Crick and Wilkins strongly objected to publication. Many of the letters, some of which consider the text in particular detail, were circulated in copy form between the individuals involved.

The correspondents include Francis Crick, James Watson, Maurice Wilkins, Sir Lawrence Bragg, Aaron Klug, Thomas J Wilson (Director, Harvard University Press), Paul Doty (Department of Chemistry, Harvard University), Leonard D Hamilton, Linus Pauling, John T Edsall, and Nathan M Pusey (President, Harvard University).
