Description

Congratulatory correspondence from the scientific community received upon election as Fellow of the Royal Society. The file includes two Western Union telegrams informing Crick of proposal for election (6 March, 1959) and of election (19 March, 1959), both addressed to Crick whilst at Harvard University.

One or two letters touch incidentally upon scientific matters, e.g. letter from Aaron Klug (20 March, 1969) refers to Klug's work on Tipula.
