Correspondence regarding a lecture ("Some Ideas about the Structure of Chromosomes") delivered at a Meeting of the Belgian Society of Cell Biology, held at the Rijksuniversitair Centrum Antwerpen, Antwerpen, Belgium, 18 November, 1972.

The file includes a programme for the day and abstracts of the three lectures given:

H G Callan, "DNA Replication in the Chromosomes of Eukaryotes" (Crick has made brief notes on the abstract sheet);

T Caspersson, "Cytochemical Chromosome Recognition - Background and Applications";

and Crick, "Some ideas about the structure of chromosomes."

Correspondence indicates that, in addition, Crick met with Professor Jean Branchet and visited his laboratory at the Université Libre de Bruxelles.
