Description

Crick and Jim Watson were jointly awarded the 2001 Benjamin Franklin Medal for Distinguished Achievement in the Sciences, to be awarded on 27 April 2001. As Crick was unable to attend the meeting for health reasons, Watson accepted the award on his behalf.
