Description

The file comprises:

tabular data (e.g. "Fractional coordinates for polyglycine II") and calculations (holograph);

six photographic images (b/w, 51/2" x 41/2") of polyglycine II, 3 chains, two at 12.2 cms and four at 21.1 cms;

twelve green plastic rectangles (7" x 5"), headed Polyglycine II, each with a small central rectangular 'pin-pricked' set of markings;

and C H Bamford, et al, "Structure of polyglycine," Nature, 176: 4478 (1955), 396-7 (unmarked reprinted paper).

Please note that a number of degrading cellulose acetate paper items cannot be consulted for conservation reasons, and have been stored separately as file PP/CRI/H/41/2A.
