Description

Undated text of a talk ("More about the chemistry of heredity") which discusses experiments conducted in 1955 by Heinz Fraenkel-Conrat on the Tobacco Mosaic Virus.

Crick's opening reference to Fraenkel-Conrat - "In the issue of the Journal of the American Chemical Society, dated the 20th of February of this year, there appeared a very important scientific paper" - establishes that Crick's talk was delivered in 1956.
