Typescripts (with editorial marks) of Crick, "The packing of alpha-helices: simple coiled coils" and Crick, "The Fourier transform of a coiled-coil."
Both texts (marked "Received 14 March 1953") were returned to Crick (envelope retained) following their publication in Acta Crystallographica, where they appeared consecutively in Volume 6 (1953), along with a third paper not included in the file ("The strength of the 10 Å reflexions in haemoglobin"). All three texts from Acta Crystallographica were incorporated in Crick's PhD thesis.
Note: Of the Figures for "The packing of alpha-helices" only Figure 1 is in the file (showing left- and right-handed helices).
