Poster printed in black and red. It includes a prominent endorsement of the medicine's effect on whooping cough dated 18 November 1890 by W.J. Blakey, a paper merchant of Stockton-on-Tees. Burgon & Co. were based at 2 and 4 High Street in Oldham. Licoricine was also sold by Thompson's Drug Stores in Manchester Road and at 4, Mumps.
