The Russian giant Machnow at the London Hippodrome : arrival.

Postcard showing Machnow in a heavy, tall, fur hat and embroidered coat in a cossack style standing in a crowd of people, raising his right arm above their heads. This is possibly on the platform at Victoria station upon his arrival in 1905 as he appears to have just got out of a train. The photograph was taken by Campbell & Gray. The card would probably have been sold as a souvenir at places where he was exhibited as part of a freak or variety show.
