Description

Colour postcard showing the from the painting by R. Caton Woodville depicting a British soldier leading another whose eyes are heavily bandaged across the mud of a WW1 battlefield, barbed wire in the foreground, corpses lie behind them and wounded soldiers are being lifted and carried away on stretchers in the background. A white cloth with splashes of blood is caught on the wire. The reverse recommends massage as a suitable profession for the blind, mentions St. Dunstan's and asks for donations.
