Description

Magazine insert with colour illustrations on all pages. Page 1 has a farmer talking to another farmer sitting on a horse-drawn cart with a farm and fields in the distance inside an ornate illustrated border of wheatsheafs and fruit, the text is on banners above and below. Page 2 has an illustration of a woman with flowing dark brown tresses and purple diaphanous dress bearing a tray of Bibby's Sheep & Lamb cakelettes in her raised right hand heading toward a hill at dawn / dusk with a flock of sheep following. Page 3 has a farmer talking to John Bull over a shop counter with 4 sacks of Bibby's cakelettes (4 varieties) on the floor. Page 4 has a cheerful blond milkmaid in a full length white apron and short-sleeved pink dress bearing 2 buckets on a yoke across her shoulders, followed by a herd of calves, with 3 haystacks and a barn behind them, advertising Bibby's "Cream Equivalent".
