The study of human sexuality can be explored in this curated selection of digitised books, paintings, photographs and manuscripts from the Library’s collections.
Sexology - the study of human sexuality and behaviour - is a prominent theme found in the Library's collections.
A selection of nearly 100 items were digitised to tie in with a Wellcome Collection exhibition, The Institute of Sexology. These books complement the Library's collections of art, archives, ephemera, manuscripts and other published materials on the study of sex and gender.
