This section highlights Library materials and online resources to support educators and their students.
We hold a wealth of resources that can support and enrich your teaching and learning. We positively support the educational use of the items we hold and hope they help to inspire and intrigue potential future doctors, historians and scientists.
The Library’s collections are dedicated to the history of medicine in all its forms, but we also have materials covering contemporary biomedicine and science. We have books, electronic resources, journals, prints, paintings and drawings, and an extensive range of manuscripts, archives and films that provide insight into cultures from around the world.
Young adults (16-17 year olds) with an interest in our collections who are working on a specific project can gain access to the Library by supplying a referral letter from their school or college together with proof of ID and address. All Library users must agree to adhere to the conditions of use policy.
Are you a history or science teacher? We want to hear from you!
