Mortuary.—From information received from the Superintendent
of the Cemetery, there were 64 bodies received into
the Mortuary during the year, and 41 post-mortems held (21
males, 20 females).
Inquests were held by the Coroner with respect to 37
bodies, being equal to 8.2 per cent. of all deaths registered
in the Borough.
Factory and Workshop Act, 1901.-Section 132 requires
the Medical Officer of Health to specifically report annually
on the administration of the Act in the workshops and
workplaces, and to send a copy of such Report to the Secretary
of State. The details on the forms prescribed and
supplied by the Home Office have been forwarded.
