FACTORY AND WORKSHOP ACT, 1801.
The title of this Act is "An Act to consolidate with
amendments the Factory and Workshop Acts."
It will be seen from the subjoined list that there are now
55 Factories and Workshops on the Register. All these are
periodically visited, and due attention has been paid to
maintaining them in such a condition as to comply with the
requirements of the Act.
During the year 58 visits of inspection were paid, and 5 instances or irregularities were found.
