Premature Infants.
The total number of premature births notified during 1950 was
55. 3 of these were born at home and 52 in hospital. Of those
born at home, 2 were nursed entirely at home and survived and 1
weighing only 1 lb. 10 ozs., was transferred to Hospital and died on
the 9th day.
