Agreement between him and Dr Baker: Baker to provide residence and establishment at Highthorne or elsewhere in York, and undertake sole care, and provide resident surgeon personally agreeable to him; Salvin to pay not less than £1200 per annum for residence and care, with another £300 personally to Dr Baker; signed by Salvin and his solicitor Patient no. 1419, 1458, 1515, 1620, 1720, 1800, 1852, 2093, in Retreat 1880, 1881 - 1882, 1883 - 1884, 1887 - 1888, 1891 - 1892, 1894 - 1895, 1895 - 1896, Voluntary Boarder 1898 - 1901, readmitted as certified 1901 - 1902 (died). Age 33 on first admission, non-Quaker, single, gentleman, from Burn Hall, Durham. General Paralysis of the Insane, Mania
