Refr: Eimas 1083 Note: Born at Dumfries, Bell studied at Edinburgh, Paris and London. He was surgeon to the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh for 29 years. In the above work Bell dealt in more detail on the subject of testicular diseases which he had already covered in his 'System of surgery'
