About this work

Description

A film about fluoridation made for public health officials towns and cities endorsed by the American Dental Association etc. Rather disappointingly the benefits of fluoridation are illustrated by artists' impressions. Using the example of Grand Rapids, Michigan, fluridation is proved to be successful in markedly reducing tooth decay (by up to 65% in younger age groups most exposed to fluoride in the water). There are three different compounds which can be added to the water supply, depending on the water management system. There is a memorable phrase at the end to complete the programme; 'Drink Away Tomorrow's Tooth Decay'.
