'Valuable Lessons' is a research report that explores how teachers approach controversial topics raised by science in their lessons. On 5 December 2001 the Wellcome Trust held a conference at the Royal College of Physicians, London, to explore the implementation of recommendations of the research report Valuable Lessons. This report details the activities and outcomes of the Stakeholder Conference and highlights delegates’ views on what needs to be done to ensure that the recommendations are enacted.
