Notebook containing a copy of a narrative of Francis Galton's life to 1830 written by his mother, plus yearly summaries of the lives of Francis and Louisa Galton [née Butler] from 1830 to 1874.

Also contains Francis Galton's childhood copy of Cobwebs, which is referenced in the narrative written by Violetta Galton [née Darwin].
