A collection of 18th century medical recipes, includes a list of the recipes on the front page with the relevant page number. Some of these include: 'for a cold' (p.3) 'for worms' (p. 7) and 'wounds of the eyes' (p. 29).

1 volume 1 vol. 8 x 13cm. Original binding, with brass lock on the back cover. Front board and part of the spine cracked and beginning to detach. Includes a vellum cover with a brass lock 12 x 15cm.
