Letter from E B Fordof the Department of Zoology and Comparative Anatomy, University Museum Oxford, to J B S Haldane enquiring about the availability of Drosophila subobscura stocks on behalf of Dr Buzzati-Traverso at the University of Pavia. Includes Haldane's reply on the reverse confirming receipt of a letter from Buzzati-Traverso, and informing that delays in obtaining a permit have held up despatch of the flies.
