Biographical note

This bundle covers initial discussions of the Arthur Balfour Chair of Genetics, problems with accomodation and salary along the way, and ends with a copy of Pontecorvo's letter to Gray outlining the reasons why he did not accept the position and ends by saying that Gray should offer the Chair of Genetics to Francis Crick.
