About this work

Description

Collection of cookery recipes, with a few household and medical receipts, in a single hand. Several of the recipes were inserted loose and have been filed separately, for convenience. One of the loose items is a prescription envelope from Prix, Pharmaceutical and Dispensing Chemist, Exeter, addressed to a Mr `Riccards' (7883/2/4); other items are addressed to a Mrs Hopkins (7883/2/15-16, 29), who may have been a later owner of the collection.
