Description
Collection of cookery receipts, with a few medical receipts, by various hands. On p. 393 is an unsigned receipt for 'my wages from Lady Day', dated 1709: a medical receipt on p. 409 is dated 1733.

1 volume 1 bl. l. + 646 pp. 4to. 20 x 16 cm. Original vellum binding, with two brass and vellum clasps. Pp. 241/2, 529/30, 625/6 missing: pp. 631/2 mutilated. Pp. 211-389, 422-627 are blank.
