Description

Three collections of culinary, medical and domestic recipes:

1-7 Collection of recipes and prescriptions, also including 'Method and result of an experiment for preserving and generating leeches' with an additional note 'this experiment was made by Mr John Scott of Oxford Street, near Duke Street, Grosvenor Square' [London, c. 1800].

8-56 Collection of culinary recipes, apparently collected by a Miss Fulsham, of East Shilton, Leics. A few items are written on envelopes addressed to Richard Fulsham, surgeon, of East Shilton, 1842-1850.

57-104 Collection of English medical domestic and culinary recipes, including recipes for cholera, whooping cough and other diseases, 19th century.
