Cookery-books: 18th/19th cent.

Collection of cookery receipts, with a few medical remedies. By several hands, some very illiterate. The names of 'Bridget Ilbert 1761' and of 'Jane Pearse 1797' are written inside the cover, but some of the entries are probably of earlier 18th century date, and there is a receipt to cure a ham on fol. 61, dated 1807, together with other receipts, probably written in the first quarter of the 19th cent.
