Collection of cookery receipts, with a few medical and domestic receipts: by several hands. The date 1844 is found on one of the unnumbered leaves. Inscribed on the lower cover in pencil: 'Doctor A. B. Evans Collection' (i.e. Arthur Benoni Evans [1781-1854], miscellaneous writer [see the Dictionary of National Biography]).
