Description

Commentary by an unidentified author on the 'Ars parva': the beginning and end wanting. Written in a small semi-current gothic hand, with marginal notes by the same in a still smaller script: with many contractions and without paragraphs: 57-66 lines to a page. Fol. 1 secunda parte declarat de signis corporis optime constitutionis ... 68 ... super discrasias nunc ipsius stomachi sicut sit appetitus ad cibum sicut ad potum / The commentary starts from the beginning of the second book of the 'Ars parva' dealing with the 'iscussion of the 'optima constitutio': it ends abruptly about the last part of the same book, which is concerned with 'digestio'.

1 volume 68 ff. folio. 31 1/2 x 21 cm. Modern boards. Some margins frayed, and a few damp-stains. In the lower margins is a foliation, by 17th cent. owner.
