About this work
Description
Mainly cookery and domestic receipts, with a few medical entries. The entries are by several hands, one towards the end 'Cheese from potatoes' is dated 1838. A receipt for tomato sauce is pasted inside the upper cover, and one for preserving cucumbers signed 'Fanny Peacocke 1830' is pasted down on the last leaf.
