Also includes an announcement about an Art and Science Forum at The Salk Institute given by Dr. V. S. Ramachandran, and notice of elections to the Royal Irish Academy.

The correspondence all dates from 2000, with the exception of correspondence with Matt Ridley on The International Centre for Life in Newcastle, 1995-2000. The Centre opened in 2000 with Crick and James Watson as patrons. There is further correspondence with Ridley on the Centre in files PP/CRI/J/1/7/18/2 and PP/CRI/K/22/16.
