About this work

Description

Numerous notes and Patterson calculations (holograph), relating to Magdoff and Crick, "Ribonuclease II. Accuracy of measurement and shrinkage," Acta Crystallographica, 8 (1955), 461-8.

The papers include, amongst the sheets, a brief note to Crick from "Dalia." Dalia David assisted in David Harker's Protein Structure Project at the Polytechnic Institute of Brooklyn (1950-59), where Crick spent the winter of 1953-54. For background, see A Tulinsky, "The Protein Structure Report, 1950-1959: first concerted effort of a protein structure determination in the US," The Rigaku Journal, 16: 1 (1999).
