About this work

Description

Correspondence regarding a Ciba Foundation Symposium on 'Genetics and Human Biology: Possibilities and Realities', held at Portland Place, London, 26-29 June, 1978.

The file includes Crick's notes (holograph) made during the symposium, which he attended as a "discussant" only. "As you are quite the most 'active' discussant I have seen here it is fine that you come in that role" (Ruth Porter, Deputy Director, to Crick, 2 February, 1978).

The transcription of Crick's contribution to discussions is referred to but not included in the file.
