Description

Detailed correspondence (five letters in total, March-August, 1956) between Crick and Jerry Donohue, and a letter (27 November, 1956, Courtaulds Research Laboratory, Maidenhead) from Arthur [ ] to Crick, which closes with the comment: "I don't think there is anything in polyglycine II of appreciable intensity at 2.40 A; Malcolm measured the limits of the ring yesterday and got 2.40A - 2.52A. I am sending an X-ray photograph (3381) so that you can see whether you agree." The file includes the X-ray photograph originally enclosed.
