About this work

Description

High dental disease burden in developing countries like Uganda has led to the use of cheap and accessible methods of dental disease prevention. Traditional toothbrushes (chewing-sticks) prepared from specific plants with antibacterial properties have been used for dental hygiene for generations and have proved to be as effective as synthetic toothbrushes.
