Description

Norplant is an effective, long-acting, reversible, progestin-only contraceptive that provides protection for up to five years - clinical trials began in 1985 and use of it progressively increased by 1995 reducing the amount of women who were being sterilised; inset shows the same woman with the implant inserted in her arm; details of producer and date known from similar poster in M/MMC database (see above ref.)
