At over 168 million, the population in Nigeria is allegedly the sixth most populated nation in the world after China, India, USA Indonesia and Brazil according to the National Population Commission of Nigeria (see http://www.population.gov.ng/ for more details); the image shows the decrease in deaths but rise in births in the years 1960 and 1980 respectively
